The Humility of Mary Center (HMC), in Davenport, Iowa is the home base convent for the Congregation of the Humility of Mary. In addition to housing for retired sisters, there is a chapel, a cafeteria, a community room and an administration wing - where my office is located. A lot goes on at the HMC throughout the year with daily masses and various events where sisters, CHM associates, their friends, family and the general public might attend.
